Celebrate! Teaching & Learning at MRU
Celebrate! is an annual event to showcase the teaching and learning excellence at Mount Royal University
It was important that the identity stray from MRU’s standard corporate design while still feeling part of the university brand. This was done by pairing MRU’s corporate blue with other bright colours to project a sense of joy and celebration. The radial lines paired with the wordmark was used to represent fireworks while also giving the logo a feeling of movement.
As the event grew, the Celebrate identity expanded from just printed posters and a website to banners, buttons, program booklets, large projections and video.
